"Still a G Thang" is the first single from Snoop Dogg's third album and first from No Limit Records called Da Game Is to Be Sold Not to Be Told (where he changed his name from "Snoop Doggy Dogg" to "Snoop Dogg"). The song reached number 19 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
The video is also the soundtrack for Snoop Dogg's 1998 short film, Da Game of Life. The video features scenes from the motion picture, with both the film and video directed by Michael Martin.
The single contains a bonus track called "Full Fledged Pimpin".
